- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Do NOT use! We had Domer as our appraiser for our VA loan in summer 2014. Because of him we are over a month past our closing date with no end in site. He under-appraised our house by $11,000 of the purchase price and $43,000 of the price the house was appraised for in 2011 BEFORE new siding, roof, and other renovations were completed. He is extremely unprofessional and even told us he doesn't care and will do everything in his power to keep us out of the house we are trying to buy. He claims we are trying to make him break the rules, but even the VA has said some of the repairs he are claiming as needed are unnecessary.
